Overview – Cinelli Aeroscoop Frame

The Cinelli Aeroscoop frame is an aerodynamic carbon road frame developed to maximize speed and efficiency on fast roads, while maintaining stable and predictable handling in real-world racing conditions.

Designed in Milan and optimized in the wind tunnel, the Aeroscoop frame follows a holistic performance approach: aerodynamic drag reduction, controlled airflow management, efficient power transfer, and long-term reliability.

Aerodynamics – Frame Design

The aerodynamics of the Cinelli Aeroscoop frame are the result of a complete frame architecture, where every tube, junction, and transition has a specific aerodynamic function.

Airfoil-Inspired Tube Transitions

The frame features airfoil-inspired tube transitions, designed to reduce turbulence and promote smoother airflow around the frame.
This approach helps lower aerodynamic drag and improves stability as speed increases.

Rear Triangle with “Double Arm” Design

The rear triangle adopts a separated arm architecture, creating a central gap behind the seat tube.

This design allows:

• improved airflow around the rear wheel,

• reduced aerodynamic disturbances,

• stiffness levels suited to racing-oriented use.

Split-Geometry Seat Tube

One of the distinctive technical features of the Cinelli Aeroscoop frame is its split-geometry seat tube.

This design distributes mechanical loads between the bottom bracket area, the top tube, and the seat cluster, with the goal of achieving:

• direct and efficient power transfer,

• improved vertical vibration management,

• a controlled balance between stiffness and comfort without compromising performance.

The frame is designed to work with:

• a dedicated aerodynamic carbon seatpost,

• a hidden rear seat clamp,

• adjustable seatpost offset (0 / 10 mm) for precise rider positioning.

Racing Geometry and Ride Characteristics

The Cinelli Aeroscoop frame features pure racing geometry, fully UCI-approved, and is available in five sizes (XS to XL).

This geometry is intended to:

• maintain an efficient high-speed riding position,

• provide precise and stable steering,

• fully exploit the aerodynamic potential of the frame on flat roads, rolling terrain, and fast sections.
