The Wilier Filante SLR ID2 represents the pinnacle of aerodynamic road bike engineering.
Developed in close collaboration with the Groupama – FDJ World Tour team, every design decision was made around the rider. Lightweight, reactive and remarkably aerodynamic, this bike redefines performance standards.

Integrated innovation: the Aerokit system

Developed by the Wilier Innovation Lab in partnership with Elite Cycling, the Aerokit system is designed to minimize aerodynamic drag by integrating hydration within the bike’s aerodynamic profile.
With a total capacity of 1,100 ml, the Aerokit acts as a functional airfoil that stabilizes airflow around the frame, reducing turbulence and resistance by more than two-thirds compared to traditional solutions.

The system is also compatible with standard round bottles (550 ml on the down tube, 750 ml on the seat tube), and traditional bottle cages can still be installed for maximum versatility.

A new aerodynamic benchmark, proven in the wind tunnel

Tests conducted at the Silverstone wind tunnel confirmed the Filante SLR ID2’s exceptional performance:

• –13.6% drag reduction compared to the previous generation

• –4.5% total aerodynamic resistance improvement (bike + rider)

• 14.15 watts saved at 40 km/h

• 1 minute 45 seconds saved over 70 km at 290 W

These results place the Filante SLR ID2 ahead of its competitors, setting a new benchmark in World Tour-level aerodynamic efficiency.

F-Bar ID2: aerodynamic and ergonomic cockpit

The new F-Bar ID2 cockpit was developed with professional riders to meet modern racing demands.
Its 3 cm orthogonal flare (O.E.F. – Optimised Ergonomic Flare) provides a natural, compact position that enhances aerodynamics without sacrificing comfort.

For the first time, Wilier has designed a fully concealed mounting system, improving both aerodynamics and aesthetics while meeting the latest UCI standards.

Fork and front-end precision

The Filante SLR ID2 fork uses NACA aerodynamic profiles derived from aeronautics.
Tested via CFD simulations across multiple wind angles and tire combinations, the fork combines an outer NACA profile with a flat inner surface for optimal airflow and stiffness.

A left-arm aerodynamic fairing partially encloses the brake caliper, while the integrated thru-axle clamp delivers improved performance and a seamless appearance.

Seatpost and technical integration

Inspired by the Supersonica SLR, the seatpost combines lightness, rigidity and vertical comfort.
Available with zero or 15 mm offset, it features an innovative integration for the Shimano Di2 battery inside the bottom bracket area.
This design lowers the bike’s center of gravity, resulting in improved stability, precision and control at high speeds.

Rear triangle and precision geometry

The rear triangle retains the Filante’s signature look but has been completely re-engineered.
Its chainstays are angled 2.5° inward, improving stability, drivetrain compatibility and tire clearance up to 34 mm.

Thanks to the AccuFit system, the geometry remains consistent across all frame sizes, providing a near-custom fit.
With 420 possible configurations, the Filante SLR ID2 offers unmatched fit precision for every rider.

Materials and finish: the essence of speed

Built in collaboration with Toray, the Filante SLR ID2 frame uses a blend of T800, T1100 and M46JB carbon fibers, balancing stiffness, responsiveness and comfort.
In its Dura Ace Di2 configuration, the complete bike weighs approximately 7.1 kg, staying just above UCI limits while ensuring maximum efficiency.

Wilier’s attention to detail extends to the finish: each color transforms light into emotion.
Available in Pure White, Solar Bronze, Aurora Blue, Lunar Grey, and Eclipse Black, the Filante SLR ID2 turns performance into art.
